		<description>Thanks. I hadn&#039;t seen those toys yet (daughter is 15mo&#039;s and doesn&#039;t even a doll), but doesn&#039;t surprise me. Great analysis. I&#039;m just wondering, in reaction to Adam/Megan&#039;s dilemma, whether it&#039;s possible to ban those toys. My thoughts, as new, naive parent, are to let that intrusion of stuff happen (although when I can control it I will), but to make sure to offer plenty of alternatives that portray/teach my girl about strong women etc.

		<description>So true - its insidious. My 2 year old daughter already knows what a damn princess is, and her grandmother plans to give her a princess doll for Christmas.  Hopefully we can get a hold of it before present day, but its an uphill battle...</description>
